Organic Certification Advantages

The organic certification guarantees that the products were elaborate and produced according to the organic agriculture regulation. Furthermore, they are controlled during all the stages: process, elaboration, packaging and commercialization.

To obtain the certification of CRAEGA, the operator has to be enrolled in the related record. To formalize the inscription, it has to be submitted a certification form with the related attached form

Once, the inscription was received and verified by CRAEGA, an inspection, where a technician will prepare the minutes, will be carried out. Afterwards, a report will be written and sent, with the required documentation, to the Certification Committee. The Certification Committee will issue a ruling and, in case it would be positive, it will be formalized the enrollment in the record of CRAEGA.

The certification of the production will be responsibility of the Certification Committee and the Technical Management.

The certification system of CRAEGA is explained in the “Procedure of certification and control”, POC-04 procedure. It can be found, besides the chapter 9 of the Quality Manual “resources, complains and litigations”, in the announcement board of the CRAEGA headquarters or uploaded in the website.

The organic production has the advantage of preserve the soil fertility; avoid chemical fertilizers, and the implementation of crop rotation, which avoids the plagues rising and the reduction of certain nutrients of the soil.

In comparison with the conventional way, organic agriculture helps to decrease the environment energy cost, to be self-sufficient, to increase the biodiversity, to guarantee a sustainable development and to influence in the consumer health.

The organic cattle raising has as an aim to produces healthy and quality products through the optimal and rational usage of the resources, respecting the environment and the animal welfare, and without using chemical substances of synthesis. The cattle raising is related to the soil, and the animal grown is a natural process in an open space.
